Outside, the streetlights were on, the stars were shining in the sky, and the air was warm. In front of a restaurant, several teenagers were bickering. "Where are your parents?" Odd said while holding his stomach. "I'm hungry!" "Shut up!" Ash J said. "We're ten minutes early!" "Look. I got all dressed up for free food and I wish your parents will hurry up. Their hotel is right across from here." Rocky said. "Oh! No wonder you look different, you look normal for once!" Aelita said. "Fuck off! Aelita!" "Don't talk to Aelita like that you fucking moron!" Jeremy said. The three of them start arguing. "I had no idea they really didn't like each other," Dawn said. "Tell me about it!" Ash said. He sees Allison sitting on a bench. Her pearl dress blows in the wind. "Are you okay, Allison?" Ash asked. "I am just wondering about that cover my mother gave me?" "I thought the cats told us that the queen must have given it to your mom." "And how is that possible?" Ash sighs and sits next to her. "I hope the kids can wait five more minutes," Fred said to Thelma, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo. "How long is Daphne going to be on her computer?" Shaggy asked. They hear a noise on the other side of the door. A maid walks by. "Locked out of your room again, Mr. Jones?" "No, Madame." "Oh. Is Mrs. Jones playing one of those marital games with you again?" Fred's face turn red as he covers his face. His friends start to laugh. "No, madame," Fred said very bashfully. Inside the room, Daphne is sitting on the bed with her laptop, talking to six other adults. "Your majesty!" Marguerite said. "Why are we having this meeting. We all agreed to never speak to each other until it was time to back to Planet Hearts and the Seven Cretaceous Planets." "Excuse, me. I never agreed to this. You all decide because you all can't get along." Daphne snapped back. "How dare you speak about us like that., Micheal shouts. "Well, it is the truth," Clint said. "Our children, they all have their powers and they are getting stronger." "But how?" Jessica asked. "What do you mean how? They're teenagers. It was only a matter of time." Clint said. "But why did they not say anything?" Akiko asked. "Think about this, what would you say to you mother if you found out that you are some Disney fairy in real life?" Marguerite said. "So what happens now?" Jessica asked. "We don't do anything. We let them come to us." Daphne said. "So never!" "Jessica!" Micheal said. "My son does not tell me nor his father anything!" "Or you just don't listen!" Johanna said with a smirk, "Why you bitch..." Jessica started. Daphne texts Fred to tell her that the kids may have to wait but she remembers something. She takes out her pink necklace and shines it on the screen. "Stop it!" She commands. Before she ends the meeting Jessica swings in one final sniper. "Did you find your sister yet?" "No!" "I doubt that she's alive. She, of course ,married someone with big dreams and an empty head, just like you. " Don't talk about my husband, you King to me like that!" "Can't handle the truth that she's..." "Jessica fuck off!" Marguerite shouted. "We can see that both you and your husband are both sinister people to the poor son of yours. " Daphne sighs and closes the laptop. She throws it across the room. "Looks like she's done!" "It 'ust be hard for 'er 'cause she's the 'oungest!" Scooby said. "Scooby's right, Daphne is younger than her court, this is why she always had her sister's back," Fred said. Daphne comes out wearing a purple sparkling dress. "Are you..." Shaggy started. "I'm fine!" She quickly said. "Okay!" He said.
The gang arrives at the restaurant and Daphne and Fred hugged their children. Then Daphne looks at Allison's necklace and smiles. "You really like the necklace I gave you for your birthday." "Yes.." Allison said nervously. "And all of your friends received the friendship watches I got them. "Yeah..sure..." Allison said again. Everyone was nervous except for Moxie and Rocky. "What is going on?" Moxie said. "Nothing." Ash J said. He grabs Moxie's hand. "Let's go inside." Inside, the restaurant Shaggy told the children to order what even they want. He should have put a limit on the budget. After a while, it was quiet. Daphne looks next to her and the children are all reading a book. "It's impolite to read at the dinner table." Nobody moved. "Did you hear me?" Nothing. "Must be some book," Thelma said. "Allison! Ash! Answer your mother!" Fred shouted. It broke the silence in the room. "Nice one Dad! Everyone is looking at us." Ash J said. "You should have answered your mother!" "Fred, please don't make a scene," Daphne said. "Well..." Daphne kisses Fred. Everyone in the room made an 'aw' sound. "Gross!" Allison said. Fred kissed back. "Stop it, Mom and Dad!" Ash J said. "They're doing this on purpose!" Yumi said. "They think we're on some kind of pedestal that we need to come down from," Allison said. "Well please come down to our level," Ulrich said while laughing. "Watch it, Stern!" Allison said while putting Ulrich in a headlock. "Hey! Come on. Be nice!" Thelma said. "Do I resort back to my old ways!" Fred said. "Please, Dad!" Ash J said. "You still call mommy, 'Danger-Prone Daphne'. So you still have some of your old ways." Daphne looks at Fred. "Really!" "Wait! I can explain." "This is better than the book," Odd said. Thelma takes a closer look at the book. "This writing style is similar to something I've read a long time ago." "Of course! You told us you all have met the author before." Ash J said. "And what is the name of the book?" Shaggy asked. "The Return of the Witch's Ghost!" Brock said. Shaggy and Scooby hid from underneath the table. "Oh! Brother! You two are too old for this!" Fred said. The children laugh. "Yeah, it's for English class," Dawn said. "Who wrote the book, may I ask?" Thelma asked. " Ben Ravencroft!" "Ben Ravencroft!" The Scooby Gang all said. "Yes. It is a..." Odd started. "A Posthumous release!" Jeremy said. "What!" Thelma said. "What happen to him?" Allison said. They never told their children what happen at all. "We have no idea." Shaggy said. "It 'isappear!" Scooby said. "What is this book about?" Thelma asked. "A group of friends who are being haunted by this witch who they locked up years ago. Another student in the school read this book and set the ghost free. It has a happy ending. The ghost does go back for good but the group of friends need this magical book the burned the first time they defeated the witch." Ash said. Thelma looks closer at the book. "This is way too much a coincidence," she said. "I know, is this a sign or something." Fred said. Scooby decides to lighten the mood by drinking all of the milkshakes on the table. "Hey!" Rocky said. Scooby laughed. Everyone else did but the gang is still suspicious of the book. Is it a sign? Maybe.
