Disorder in the House
Episode One
" I hate the rain….."
The drops of water ran down the smooth contour of G-2's helmet, pooling on the ground below. It was odd for the team to be sent on patrol in weather like this, but with Gallacter pulling out all the stops the last few months, it was important for everyone to stay on their toes. The Condor looked down from the top of the skyscraper he was standing on, and surveyed the city surrounding him. He had split with the others to cover more ground. Kymar City had once been a rival to any major world metropolis, but now it lay abandoned. The city was still mostly intact, though its inhabitants had been wiped out by a virus almost fifteen years ago. The Condor remembered what happened the last time Gallacter had set up base in an abandoned city….. The JellyFish Lens….
Condor shuddered. That thing gave him the willies. It was one of the few times he actually thought he was gonna die.
So far, he had found nothing in this city. Nothing worth noting anyhow. But the view was nice from here, except for the rain.
"G-2. This is G-1 Eagle leader. Report to the rendezvous point. Out."
"Roger."
The condor leapt from the top of the fifty story building, extending his arms out front, cape unfurling behind him. He loved freefall. It almost made him feel like Superman. This was better than Superman though. This was all real, as hard to believe as it was. He touched lightly on the ground, and bounded off the street, into the buildings encompassing him. He bounced, from building to building, wall to wall. He finally landed in the middle of the town square, where he saw the rest of the team gathered beneath a tree.
"It's not a good idea to stand under the tree you know, with the rain and all."
They looked at Joe, with an amused regard. Did he try to crack a joke?
"Did you find anything Joe?" Ken said, looking around.
"No."
"Sure. I bet he wasn't even looking." Ryu never knew when to keep his mouth shut. Why wasn't he in the GodPhoenix as usual? Why did he have to be out here, getting in the way?
"You keep your mouth shut, Fatboy. I don't need to hear it from you."
"Joe…" Jun stepped in front of him. He had raised his fist to hit Ryu. "You're acting like a child. Stop it. He is your team mate, and your brother. Don't take your anger for Gallacter out on us."
"Stay out of this Jun."
"ENOUGH!" Ken stood there, firm and resolve. "I will not tolerate any more bickering among you. Now be quiet. I think I hear something."

I see them now.
I have them in my sights.
I have trained my whole life for this day.
I will not fail.
This is my time.
I focus my energy, and I am there before I know it. There. The fat one. He is the strongest, so he goes first. I leap, and draw my sword, slicing him across his mid section, as his entrails fall to the ground before his very eyes. I go for the Condor next. He is drawing a gun. I round, and kick him in the chest, and he pulls his trigger, the bullet going off in the air. I leap up, and land on the Swan's head, bouncing off it, into the bumbling arms of the Eagle. I leap back, and sheathe my sword. They look at me incredulously as they pick themselves up off of the ground.
"The time for games has passed. A new time is here, now." I can't help it. A grin crosses my face, even though this mask keeps them from seeing it. I close my eyes, and I am somewhere else.
