Yamamoto Takeshi looked through all the letters that were sitting in his bag. He had gotten quite a few from his friends, and surprisingly, even one from his tsundere boyfriend Gokudera Hayato, of all people.

He was honestly surprised it didn't rain today.

Dumping the letters on his desk, he picked up one that was sealed in a lavender envelope with gold swirls on the border. The raven haired male raised a brow. It defiantly reeked elegance.

He slowly, carefully opened the letter, and a folded sheet of paper, looking much like the envelope, fell out.

After opening it, he read aloud,

"As gentle as rain

Is your loving and kind soul

So please, stay the same.

Love, Renji"

Takeshi grinned to himself. He knew the silver haired girl enjoyed writing haikus, and she must have thought it was appropriate because of his Japanese background. Renji always did seem out of the social loop, almost like her brother used to be.

He turned to the next envelope, which had the words 'From Tsuna and Solte' scribbled on the front. He recognized it as Tsuna's handwriting, as he never saw how Solte wrote before. It was a bright blue envelope, most likely picked by Tsuna, who knew his favorite color.

He also opened the envelope carefully, to find a card that had a picture of a dog on it. The raven couldn't help but laugh. He always did love dogs.

He opened the card that read,

"I've knowns you for years

I've known you for about a month

But time doesn't matter.

You're always fair

You're always kind

Even what you don't know what's the issue.

However there's a major difference between us

And for that, you may tell

We both hate poetry

And cannot write it well.

Sincerely, Tsuna & Solte :)"

Takeshi couldn't help but laugh at the end of that one. He remembered when they had gotten a poetry project. He and Tsuna nearly flunked, but contrary to what he said, Tsuna could write poetry. It was just...really random, that's all.

He had gotten poetry from a variety of people. Basil (He actually had to look some of the words up in his poems), Haru, Kyoko, Ryohei (who used the word extreme in every line of his sonnet), Lambo, I-Pin, Mukuro (who's poem was very creepy, in Takeshi's opinion), Chrome (who's writing, like I-Pin's, seemed to be awkward), Rand, Rizona, and even Hibari of all people.

There was only one sealed envelope in the pile, and he picked it up. The words 'For the baseball idiot' were neatly written on the front. A soft smile came across his face.

He seemed to open the letter more carefully than the others, as if it was so fragile, it would break. Amber eyes looked at the writing curiously, then he opened his mouth to say aloud:

"Even though it seems like I hate you

We will always stay together

Because our love is strong and true

Like the rain and storm, the fiercest types of weather.

Love, Hayato"

Nothing could stop the giant grin on his face, or the warm, fuzzy feeling in his chest.
