The Bringing Together of Two Worlds

Summary: The Ancients have meddled with the affairs of the lower plane more than they've claimed to have done.

Spoilers for Sanctuary and Stargate SG-1

Author's note: This is my third fanfict and I'd love to hear how everyone's liking my style. Please feel free to critique them.

Chapter 1

Tea'c, Vala, Cam, Sam and General Landry at Jack's Cabin following the events of Uninvited

"I'm glad to see you're all having a good time," said General Landry while pulling up a chair at the card table.

"Yes Sir. Last night was the best fun I've had since, I don't know when. The look on your face when I said 'Sir! Get down!' What? A hundred times the man has told me to relax," replied Cam.

Exasperated, General Landry replied "Not that much."

Almost laughing, Cam said "Yes Sir. Well, its good to see you relaxing too Sir."

Then General Landry, nodding told Vala "Alright! Now deal me in."

At this point, Sam spoke up saying "I'm out this round. Cards have never been my thing. I can't believe I won that last round but one round was enough for me. Besides, I need to get the message to Sally so she can pass it on to Nikola, Henry and Ashley to get ready to in-act the next phase of the game."

"Sally? Nikola? Henry? Ashley? What game are you talkin' about Sam? And who are those people?" Cam asked.

"Sally is a mermaid with telepathic abilities and is a resident of my house on my home world. Nikola is one of my oldest friends, again from my home world and Ashley and Henry are my kids. Henry isn't mine by blood but Ashley is. The 'game' is one of control and concern for the well being of the thousands of strange creatures and beings with unusual gifts that inhabit my world. Though this phase, will also have an impact on the fight with the Ori."

"Okay, how?" replied Cam.

"By introducing a new element into the game. I've come to the knowledge that my world was originally settled by a group of early Alterans as the earliest written language on my world has far too many similarities with early Ancient for it to be coincidence as well as that the entire star system is slightly out of phase, allowing creatures of an alternate dimension ability to inter mix and breed with normal creatures, intensifying the genetic diversity of my planet. Third, my star system is in a massive time dilation field. In the normal time steam, billions, if not trillions of years have passed since my world was colonized. However, on my world, only 10,000 years have passed since then."

"Still, how does this knowledge help? What is your plan Colonel Carter?"

"Well Teal'c, over my years with the SGC I've gotten to study a lot of alien technology including technology that allows things to go out of phase, and alter how time passes. I've just been using my "hidden" DNA which is very unlike a normal human's, to pass the information psychically back to my world to undo the time field and to bring the system back into normal phase, which is Henry and Nikola's job. Ashley and I are going to bring the system here."

"And you're going to do that how?"

"Ashley and I both have the ability to teleport so we're going to use that alongside our mother-daughter bond to bring it all here. On my home world, its a long held belief that no bond is greater that the bond between mother and the child of her womb and that no power can truly desperate them if they both are reaching for each other. The child will always return to their mother. I know its a fact as my daughter came back from the dead because she couldn't bear the thought that she had cost me immensurable pain due to the loss of her. She never wanted to hurt me.
