All My Time

AN: Kinda crazy... I've been writing a lot of stories about characters beginning to like their crushes... I like writing things like that now... I'm on a romance roll right now, I guess.
Well, this is Rachel referring to Percy. I never once mention Rachel's name, but yeesh, I think you can all figure it out. If not, well, I just told you. Not that you read the ANs anyway, huh?
(I don't either...)
Hope you enjoy!
Disclaimer: I don't own PJO/HoO.
I've been spending all my time just thinkin' 'bout you
I don't know what to do
I think I'm fallin' for you…
As much as she hated to admit it, she couldn't stop thinking about him.
His name—God, was it a weird one—replayed over and over in her head like a stupid broken record. The memories of him—there weren't many—were burned in her mind. She couldn't stop thinking of him. Was he really what he said he was? Was he really not fully human? If so, that means she wasn't crazy after all. All those monsters… they were real.
Oh God, they were real.
The thought kind of freaked her out, so she decided she'd rather think about him instead.
He was a… weird person. Not that she wasn't, but he was weird as in, well, even she didn't know what to think of him. There was no doubt in her mind that he was cute, but, she barely knew him. Still, there was something that told her he was special. It was almost like her life would never be the same after meeting him.
Whoa, she thought. Where'd that come from?
She was slightly creeped out by herself—who thinks that after meeting a guy twice? Right, snobby girls that she hated do. And she was most definitely not trying to stoop to their level. But, there was something about this Percy Jackson that was different.
He was different.
He was cute, but in such a weird way. He was nice, she supposed. It wasn't like she knew him that well, but that was something she wanted to change. After all, isn't that way she'd scribbled her number on his arm?
Oh God, why did she do that?
That was definitely dropping down to a shallow girl's level. Just meeting the guy—not counting Hoover Dam—and giving him her number. She literally smacked herself for doing that after he and that blonde chick had disappeared from her sight.
Speaking of that blonde chick, she had began to wonder who the heck she was, and why she was with Percy.
She couldn't help but feel a bit… angry, was it? at the blonde girl. Were they dating? Had she gotten her hopes up for nothing? Dare she say it... but was she jealous of Percy's blonde friend?
Even worse, did she like a guy she barely even knew?
The thought kind of made her feel bubbly inside, and she wasn't too fond of that.
The more she thought of it, the more the truth seemed to become evident. She couldn't stop thinking about him, she felt anger towards a girl she barely knew, she wanted to see him again...
It all added up. She liked him—Percy Jackson—a guy she saved twice now.
She didn't like it, but she definitely did feel something, something really strong for Percy. Whether it was a sense of protection, a slight crush, or just wanting to be friends with him, she knew well enough that she wanted to know him.
It became evident later that she was definitely falling for Percy Jackson.
AN: I love that song. :) I hope you all enjoyed it! Thanks for reading!
