AN: So this idea has been hanging about my head for months and I finally figured out how to write it down. I don't feel like it is quite finished, but I can't think of anything else. There may be changes made in the future. The title is from the song Take me Back by Brick and Lace.

He had come to her apartment and blindfolded her, saying that he had a surprise for her. She was startled when he led her to his blue punch buggy, which they had christened the TARDIS, but she let him do as he wished. She felt them drive along, and realized that he was taking her to the house they had recently bought together, the same house he had banned her from entering until he said otherwise "because of very good reasons. Well, I think they are brilliant reasons and you are going to agree with me eventually I just know it Rose!" She smiled fondly at the memory from three weeks ago and he helps her out of the car and leads her into the house. She can't figure out where in the house he is taking her, and she thinks he must be going in circles because she is sure that the house isn't quite this big. They finally stop, and he carefully takes off the blindfold and steps back. She gasps, and starts to spin around in circles. There are no windows in the room, but that isn't noticed in her amazement. Because standing in this room, it feels like she is back on New Earth in New New York. They're on the hill that they originally landed on, and she can smell the apple grass and feel the wind blowing. She knows that it can't be true but she lets herself forget that for a minute. She can see the hospital and when she turns around she can see the TARDIS doors, painted over the door to this magical, magical room. She turns back to John, her wonderful Doctor, and she beams at him. She had her doubts in the beginning, she thought that it could never be the same but she had learned that he still loved her the same, still hated pears and guns the same, still acted like a know-it-all the same. Now she can see that even if she had thought she would missing travelling with her original Doctor, miss seeing the stars, she realizes something important now. They can still travel the Earth if they still wish, and they can still travel the stars in their memories. She hugs him, and as she does, it is cemented in her mind that this is going to work.

Please tell me what you think!
