Hallo. This was a random story I wrote up. Enjoy~

Germany was walking down the streets of England. He had just finished with yet another meeting and was making his way back to his hotel. Unfortunately, he had gotten off at the wrong airport thus leading him to book into the wrong hotel which was on the other side of the town.

It was mid-afternoon and the sun was occasionally hiding behind small clouds. Germany calmly walked down the streets alone. He looked around and saw small children hiding, staring fearfully at him.

"Psst! He's a German!" One whispered.

"I heard they burn anyone who opposes them!" Another assumed.

"Uuu, he's scaawee!" Cried another young child.

Ludwig sighed. He really did hate stereotypes. All they did was make people hate him. No one ever knew the true story. No one would believe the true story. No one would believe how Austria had secretly taken over his country and threatened him to do all those things.

He continued walking until he was stopped by a small girl. She was about six years old, had blue eyes and brown hair. She looked as if she was inspecting Ludwig.

"Um, can I help you?" He asked.

"So you're German?" She asked bluntly.

If this were an anime scene, there would be a sweatdrop on Ludwig's head. "Ja, I am German."

"You don't look like a bad person!" She cheerfully stated.

Germany blinked. "D-Danke…"

"My name's Amanda!" She said as she took Germany's hand and shook it.

"I am called Ludwig," he replied. He enjoyed having this kind fluffy moment with children.

"Amanda! Time for lunch!" Called a motherly voice.

"Waa? I have to go now, Ludwig. I hope I'll see you again!" She rushed off to her mother.

Germany waved goodbye to the girl before continuing to walk to his hotel. He sighed, he was alone, yet again.

"He's a monster!" He heard someone say.

"Monster. Am I a monster?" He thought to himself. He had always thought this since the second world war. Everyone had always thought of him as a monster. He killed his own people. He tortured an endless number of human beings. They had every right to find him a monster.

More children fled from his path as he continued to walk towards the hotel. He kept walking until he saw a child fall over and his friends ditch him out of fear. The boy had skinned his knee which had started bleeding.

Germany sighed and walked towards the boy who tried to run but only cowered. He leaned down and said to the boy, "I'm not going to hurt you." The boy gulped and sat there staring at the German fearfully.

Ludwig set down the briefcase he was carrying, opened it, pulled out a first aid kit and closed the suitcase. "Give me your leg," he ordered politely.

The boy hesitantly did so, wincing from the pain. Ludwig had a look at it then got out some disinfectant for wounds, dabbed it on a cotton bud and dabbed lightly on the other's wound. The boy scrunched up his eyes in pain then relaxed slightly.

When Germany was done with disinfecting the wound, he got out a bandage and placed it over the wound. "There, all better." He gave the child a small smile.

The boy was confused at what to do at first but then just smiled back. Ludwig ruffled the boy's head. "I hope you have a safe journey home." He put away the first aid kit, picked up his briefcase and began to walk away without another word.

"W-Wait!" The child cried out.

Ludwig turned around. "Was is it?"

"T-Thank you!" He stuttered, blushing and smiling at the same time.

Germany smiled at the boy and waved goodbye before beginning to walk off again. He felt good that he did a good deed. He continued to walk towards the hotel, which was now in his vision.

He checked in and went to his room. Once inside, he dropped his briefcase on the floor and collapsed on the bed.

"Am I truly a monster?"
