Icy Steps

Klaus' POV

Its really cold tonight. I hate it when its cold because i have to put loads of clothes on to keep warm. Also my glasses fog up and then freeze. Violet's upstairs with Quigley and Duncan, which just fails in itself really, since they're both in love with her. But, I don't know. Duncan's been a bit off Violet recently, much to Quigley's delight. Sunny's sat in the corner chewing the wall, because ... that's just what she does. I'm sat here on the sofa reading Alice in Wonderland. Isadora is out shopping somewhere with her new friend, Hayleigh. As you might of guessed by now, I'm completely in love with Issy and I miss her. But no amount of Duncan hounding me will get it out of me. Not even Violet knows. It's a bit obvious though. Nope, wait. Violet definitely knows because I told her in my sleep. I'm going to put the radio on now. Wait, I can here Isadora and Hayleigh now. Yay, she's home.

" Duncan, we're back. And we got some new Cd's." yelled Issy.

" Why do I want to know." I heard from upstairs.

" Yeah Duncan, THAT WAS MY EAR." probably Quigley screaming that one. Isadora looked smug, so i picked up Sunny and went upstairs to put her in bed. I was standing outside the room they were in when I heard them arguing.

" Hayleigh is downstairs, and for god's sake, DO NOT faint again." yelled Isadora.

" Look Issy, yeah I may like Hayleigh, but you can't say anything about being in love with someone. CAN YOU?."

" Duncan! That was low even for you. Yeah I may like him, but at least I can stand up near him." Issy's lip was obviously trembling.

" Hardly. I know you Isadora. This is SO like you. You're too scared to ask THAT person out but when it comes to other people being in love, they have to be in a relationship." I ran downstairs after that. Hayleigh was sitting on the sofa, looking at the cd's they bought. Jedward. Oh Yeah. Almost Alice. Get in there. Some top quality tunes there.

" I'm going to go now. Tell Issy I said bye." said Hayleigh, quietly.

" Okay. See ya Hayleigh." She left Isadora's cd's then left quietly.

". HAYLEIGH'S GONE. SHE SAID BYE."

" Oh My God! See Duncan. It's your shouting that did that."

" Do you want me to tell everyone who you're in love with?"

" No. You wouldn't do that."

" Watch Me. ISADORA LOVES KLAUS. See! I didn't want to do that but if you hurt me, I'll do it back."

"DUNCAN. I can't believe you would do something like that to her." screamed Quigley. Isadora loves ... me? I can't believe it. She's coming down now. And she's crying.

" Issy, what's the matter?"

" Yeah, like you didn't hear. Klaus I love you and you're too dumb to see it." she said, looking at the floor.

" Come on. Lets go for a walk. To clear your head."

" OK." she said, snivelling. We put our clothes on and stepped outside. As i walked down the steps, Issy panicked and tripped, landing on the cold, hard ground.

" ISSY. Are you Okay?"

" Yeah, I just hate icy steps. I'm clumsy at the best of times so they don't help me much." Aww, she's so cute. i'm going to have to kiss her now. Ok 1, 2, 3 go. WOOP I'm kissing her.

" What was that?" asked Isadora after it was finished.

" A kiss." obviously.

" If you're going to kiss me ... do it right." and she kissed me! All I could hear was whistling from Duncan and Quigley. Thank God for Icy Steps.
