Preface – how could they do this?
I woke up one morning, from the sound of the telephone, and my mom picking up.
I slowly got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I took a quick shower, since I had to get to school and meet the others. I didn't really want to, because Jacob had changed like all the others. And I didn't really get it and I just had this weird feeling about today, something was going to happen, but I don't know what.
I walked up to the school doors. The others were already there; they are always the first thing you see in the morning, because they all look the same. They all ware t-shirts and sweat shorts, and they all have their hair cut short. But one thing was different, Leah and Jacob looked sad…
"Hey guys." I said quietly, they looked at me and nodded.
"What's wrong?" I asked, Jacob looked down, and then the mad face appeared on his face, Leah too. Hmm… this can't be good.
"We can't be friends with you anymore." Jacob said, and turned around, and was about to walk away when I yelled
"Wha… what?" He looked at me; I could feel the tears rolling down my face.
"Why?" I said, I looked down so they wouldn't see the tears.
"Why do you need a reason?" Jacob said, my heart was beating so hard against my ribs that I was about to black out.
"I… you, have I done something wrong?" I asked, Paul laughed,
"Yeah, you have. Your heart is beating, you are alive… that's the problem. We don't want to be friends with you anymore. Done." Jacob said, they all walked away except Jacob. Now I didn't care if he saw the tears, I had been in love with him, through all the years that we have been best friends, and now he is dumping me like this, my father just died, and now I'm losing my best friend…
"How could you do this? You are… was my best friend!" I ran against him, and started hitting and kicking after him, but he just grabbed my arms.
"Stop Lina! This is our choice." I looked at him, and laughed.
"Our? Don't you mean Sam's choice?" I yelled, people were starring, but I didn't care shit. He looked down. I laughed.
"You're just like everyone else! And now you are also one of Sams little puppies."
His eyes shot up to mine, the tears were still falling, and my heart was breaking. I should have seen this coming though… after that Swan girl came to forks, everything changed and the day before she arrived he kissed me, and not you know a fast one on the lips, no a total lip lock make out session, and now he is telling me that we can't be friends anymore…
"How could you do this?"
I screamed into his face, he looked shocked. I turned around and ran against the doors, and stormed out into the pouring rain. I heard teachers calling my name, but I kept running. I looked back and saw Leah standing in the door, but the bell rang and she went inside. What a bunch of assholes.
How… How could they do this to me?
