He would always love her; even if she hated him for what he had done to her, even if he would never be able to return to her side – because she wouldn't allow it, because fate wouldn't allow it – he would always love her.
She would always wait for him; even if he never returned to her – even if she was never his destination, even if fate sought to separate them – and all she had left of him was his love for her – her love for him – she would always wait for him.
Because that much they were certain of.
