Crumpled Nothingness
A One-Shot

Kiba Inuzuka, was sitting with his dog Akamaru on a rusted green bench, in his hands was a crumpled up piece of paper. Kiba sighs and slowly uncrumples it for the third time that night. It was a note from Hinata to Naruto, one in which she professed her love to her blonde haired Knight, one in which she said she was forever his faithfully, one in which the poor girl said she would die for that blue eyed cretan. Kiba had found it in the garbage outside of Naruto's appartment when he knocked on the door to find the reason for the letters disposal a half-dressed Sakura opened the door, answering all of his questions. Kiba didnt have it in his heart to tell Hinata that the love of her live was in love with someone else. He was debateing what to due in his mind when his dog let out a shrill bark.
"What is it boy?"
Akamaru pointed his noise in the direction of the disturbance, a young woman with dark hair was walking toward them, it was Hinata. Kiba pretended to not notice she was there.
"Kiba, is that you?"
Kiba cringed slightly before turning and facing his teamate.
"Hello Hinata..."
"Um...have you spoken with Naruta at all today Kiba?"
Kiba openly cringed this time desperatley thinking of ways to play this off, he didnt want to hurt Hinata but he didnt want to lie to her either.
"No I haven't."
She didnt return with an answer instead she chose to sit down next to her dear friend, a small hint of sadness on her face.
"I left the letter at his door today."
Kiba swallowed glumly
"I know."
Hinata then smiled softly she was hoping that maybe he had good news and it tore him up inside.
"Hinata, I um well listen, how upset would you be if Naruto didnt love you back?"
Hinata's smile immediatley dissapeared.
"I guess I would understand"
Kiba got a bit more confident at this statement but before he could tell her she began to cry furiously.
"He doesnt does he, he read the letter and now he hates me!"
Kibas heart stopped for a second, he had made her cry, it was all his fault kiba began softly stroking Hinata's hair.
"shh, Hinata its okay."
Hinata slowly stopped crying after a few minutes of silence she spoke,
"Kiba, I dont understand how could God let me love someone so much without him loving me back?"
"Hinata I know how you feel."
"You love Naruto too?"
Kiba was taken aback,
"What, No! For awhile now Ive been in love with the most beutiful woman in the world, and she's in love with someone who doesnt love her."
Hinatas eyes widened in shock she turned to face Kiba who had a mischevious smile etched across his face.
He Kissed Her...
