A/N: There isn't enough Katie/Sadie (KatSad) fluff in the world. I thought it would be nice to help out.

"Katie, have you ever dated a guy?" Sadie asked, pulling out a light pink nail polish out of a makeup bag and giving it to her.

"Ew, no! Boys, are gross, Sadie!" Katie giggled, taking the nail polish from her best friend. "Do you want me to do your nails or your toes?"

Sadie pointed to her toes in response. "Okay," Katie nodded, shaking the polish up, and popping it open. "Why were you asking me if I dated a boy? Have you?"

Sadie sighed. "Of course not. Boys never like me in that way."

Katie looked up at her best friend in confusion. "Why wouldn't they? You're sweet, and smart, and really pretty. Any guy would be lucky to date you."

Sadie smiled at her friend. "You think so?"

"I know so." Katie grinned, and carefully painted Sadie's baby toes. "If it makes you feel any better, I would date you."

"Um, what?" Sadie giggled awkwardly, her face beginning to redden. "You would?"

"If I were a guy, yeah!" Katie looked at her friend in confusion. "What other way is there?"

Sadie blushed, embarrassed about her thoughts. "None."

"Exactly. So since I'm not a guy, I'll stick to you being my BFFFL." Katie finished off Sadie's baby toes, and moved back to admire her work. "All done. Wanna do mine?"

"Yeah, I will." Sadie took the nail polish from Katie and began to paint.

"So, you know Lucy right?" Katie began, and Sadie knew where this was going. Katie enjoyed talking about gossip, and it was common for her to talk for long periods of time.

Although Sadie liked to talk, it was something about Katie's gossip that made her want to listen. No matter what the subject was, Sadie would always find herself mesmerized.

"Yeah, I know her. What happened?" Sadie asked, and sported a small grin as Katie ran into a long explanation of how Lucy and Jake broke up.

So what if Katie gave mixed feelings? Sadie knew she still loved her.
