Kagome and InuYasha stood nervously watching the field from the skybox that they were currently sitting in.
"Oh, they got the hats on! They got the hats on!" Kagome yelled as she jumped up and down excitedly.
InuYasha pointed and yelled, "They got him! They got the coach! Look!"
Kagome looked towards where her boyfriend was pointing.
"The clock! The clock InuYasha!" Kagome screamed. "They're running it down!"
"I know! I know!" InuYasha replied.
InuYasha and Kagome both started counting,"15...14…13…12…11…10…9…8…7… 6 …5…4…3…2…1. IT'S OUT! WE'RE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL! THE BEARS ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!" Kagome jumped up and down as she squealed and hugged InuYasha.
InuYasha turned to her and kissed her on the lips. Then he pulled a small black box out of his pocked.
"InuYasha? What…?"
Before she had a chance to finish InuYasha bent down on one knee and opened the small box. Kagome put her hands over her mouth in shock, her eyes wider than they had ever been in her life.
"Kagome Higurashi, I love you more than anything in the universe," InuYasha began, "Will you marry me?"
"InuYasha, I…" Kagome could only stare at the ring. It was beautiful. A silver band with large diamond surrounded by other small diamonds sat in the box.
InuYasha looked worried, his ears slightly drooping, "Kagome?"
"Yes." Kagome whispered softly. InuYasha's sharp ears perked up at this. (a/n he still has his dog ears)
"Yes." Kagome spoke louder. "Yes InuYasha. I'll marry you." InuYasha grinned. His eyes twinkling with delight as he took the ring and slipped it onto her finger. He stood up.
InuYasha leaned in so that his forehead rested on the Kagome's. "I love you Kagome. I love you so much." He whispered just before he claimed her lips with his.
