She turned, her foot skidding across the floor. She was catching herself before she would hit the ground and she would continue to run, run away from her follower.
A stalker
She continued to run, her skirt flapping up behind her, not caring if she was showing her undergarment at all. Why was she being followed? She had only just been coming back from checking on her sunflower since it was raining and windy earlier that day.
"Hinata…Hinata….Save me…SAVE ME!" She shouted as she turned another corner, she ran into a figure, his eyes glistening, his hair contained a shade of pink that would sometimes go yellow. His school uniform was on, the blue was giving it a strange shading from standing out in the moon light. Hikage was panting, her heart racing, she needed help, but Hinata never came for her, she called but he never arrived. She clung onto Teru, who quickly turned multiple shades of red when her body was quickly latched onto his, Hikage cried into his shirt. "Save me Teru…" She whispered, gasping when she heard footsteps head towards her and Teru, her heart was beating slower and everything was going in slow motion. She felt herself get pushed aside, a punch being thrown, knocking one of the males out, Hikage felt her body get lifted up bridal style and she wrapped her arms around the male's neck. "Teru….thank you…." She cried as he pulled her closer to him. He sighed and looked away.
"You always get in trouble…don't you? And where's Hinata, shouldn't he have been with you?" He asked as he carried her to her home, she felt more tears stream down her stained face.
"He was going to help me….but then he said he couldn't. He said he….he would always be there for me….but lately he hasn't been. I think he hates me Teru, I see him with other girls when I'm not with him. I think he grew tired of me Teru!" She cried as Teru let her down, he wiped away one of her tears and he gently kissed her forehead.
"I'm always here for you, and maybe Hinata wasn't right for you in the beginning…but I just think that he's changing too much for you to keep up…" Teru whispered, scratching the back of his head, he knew that it was harder to talk to Hinata now, and it's strange that he changed so much after starting to date Hikage for about four months now. Teru sighed and placed a hand on Hikage's head. "Just don't worry about it. You know I-" He stopped, he never told Hikage that he still liked her, and he sighed as he turned around and started to head home, Hikage smiled and waved to him, her face still covered in dry tears.
"B-Bye Teru, bye-bye Black Rabbit" She called as she waved her hand in the air. She felt her heart race but when he held a hand in the air, saying bye to her as well.
Maybe a broken heart is the best medicine of them all?
