Jasper's Proposal
This is a plot bunny that popped into my head when I was bored. This is how I think Jasper's proposal to Alice went.
Jasper POV
I was writing in my new notebook when Alice came and sat next to me, I didn't need to be an empath to tell that she was frustrated.
"What do you have the boys up to?" she demanded. I smiled.
"Whatever do you mean, Love?" I replied. She was adorable when she was mad.
"The boys are hiding something from me! Even Carlisle is keeping something from me! I even think Esme is in on it!" She ranted.
"It's a surprise, love. You'll love it "I promised. She didn't seem convinced."Humor me" I said as I got up and went down stairs.
Two days later
I was ready I had the ring in my pocket, a beautiful silver ring with a lone blue topaz cut into the shape of a heart and engraved on the inside is the words 'God Gave Me You'. I asked Esme to go to a jewelry store to have it custom made. I made no decisions so she couldn't see it coming. Emmett was playing chess with Alice now, after having Edward make sure she didn't have any visions. This was also to make sure she didn't see me coming down to propose.
It was time; I went down the stairs to surprise my Alice with a wonderful gift. She heard me coming and got up and ran to me.
"Emmett and Eddy are being mean to me!" She whined.
I couldn't help but chuckle. Alice glared at me while Emmett gave me two thumbs up and Edward mouthed 'good luck'.
"Come with me" I said to Alice who was still glaring at me. She followed me outside to a meadow that I had asked Rosalie and Esme to decorate with pink, red, and white roses. They didn't disappoint me, the meadow had rose petals and over the ground and roses in the trees. Alice was very surprised.
"What's this Jasper?" She really didn't know. Good.
I kneeled down on one knee and pulled out the ring, took a deep breath and said "At times I may upset you, sometimes I'll make you mad, at times I'll make you sad, but you'll never find another guy that loves you more than me, I love you with my heart and soul... for all eternity. You are every reason, every hope, and every dream I've ever had, and no matter what happens to us in the future, every day we are together is the greatest day of my life. I will always be yours. And, my darling, you will always be mine. Will you marry me?"
She looked speechless. Then she threw her arms around me and whispered"Yes, a million times yes!"
When we got back to the house everyone was waiting outside. The girls crowded around Alice talking about the wedding and what she was going to wear while the guys patted my shoulder and said well done but the best response yet was when Emmett said "Want some tips for the honeymoon?" Well Emmett will be Emmett.
