He walks on carnage like the reaper in sight
On carved bodies and bones he treads
With pure unadulterated delight
And all that is best of him; his bloody imposing form
standing victorious amongst the defeated eyes filled with naught but scorn.
His face betrays nothing; concealing hate and fury
Yet emotions that he let pass bring forth impassioned beauty.
His true nature concealed between half lidded lashes
A face illuminated by the glowing embers of a serene field now ravaged
His bloodied weapon mocks the irony of his delicate visage
A testimony to the sheer brutality of the corpses strewn across the yard.
And in the darkness he traverses, the infernal heat brims
Its flames dancing, as if revering the undead king!
His grim, haunting smile, a silent testament to his desire
A presence so asphyxiating; A simile to Hades' mien*
A will so pertinacious, never yielding to the throng
His allegiance, to no one; A turbulent existence sauntering like a cloud.
