Oh god. I really made this short! Oh well, you're gonna have to forgive me for that. I did this in a free time in my school computer lab for 15 minutes. Right now, I'm off! Bye!

Disclamiers: I don't own The Matrix. Nor the Chess game I borrowed from my friend Jordan.

Chess pieces.

The Matrix was like a game. The Rebels and my Agents are like the pawns of the game. My game.

It all started with just a bet. A chess game. I knew One back then. He was a nemesis of mine. Always opposes me in my game, always wasting my pieces. But soon, I came to know that it was him who is playing against me.

When he died, we were still playing our little game. And his pieces still moved even after his death.

Chess. A game I've marveled for a long time. Even if I had no other purpose but to balance the equation, I've been known to perfect the game of Chess. I've never lost a single one and I was sure that I wouldn't lose to this human. Until he was reincarnated to Neo. That was when I was put into a loss.

After quite a few losses in Neo's side, he had sacrificed those few to save his pawn to destroy mine. After that, he 'kinged' himself and started to take advantage of my game.

Then he had taken some more one by one.

I was losing my pawns, but slowly he was losing some of his by my other knights.

Until one of my knights reached his other side. We both had one more on each side... and I've tried to avoid as much as I could.

One person is declared the winner. There couldn't be two losers.

But I guess I was wrong. It ended in a tie, a draw. In a forfeit by the both of us. Both were sacrificed.

I was surprised of Neo. Especially when we met in the TV room. I mean, I knew it would happen, but he had made it far.

But perhaps, I should be thankful of Neo. I couldn't take a complete loss of a game I've never lost on. If it hadn't been for him, my board would be destroyed.

I'm just surprised at him. And thankful.

But, I guess, Chess wasn't really that way.
