"AGAIN? AAHHHH!" Vexen yelled in his lab. His experiment had failed again, making him mad beyond belief.
Recently Vexen had been trying to see if every snowflake was different. It wasn't going like he planned though, every time he tried to look at it under a microscope or anything the snowflake would melt before he could see it. Vexen let out a disgruntled sigh and sat down. He tried taking notes again; glaring at the pile of snow he had taken to look at.
Everyone in the castle had already left. As soon as they realized that Vexen was getting into one of his moods, they all left to find warmer ground. The only two people brave enough to stop by were Zexion and Lexaeus. The two had tried to help him in the beginning but soon left when Vexen almost froze them when Zexion dropped a test tube. When it shattered across the floor something inside of Vexen almost seemed to snap, Zexion and Lexaeus had to out run the frost that Vexen sent after them, yelling apologies as they were running.
The empty castle seemed to echo around him, he could hear people laughing at him, how he couldn't even do this simple experiment. He growled in frustration, feeling the temperature going down a few more degrees. Frost started to cover things.
Suddenly he felt something cold hit the back of his hand. Then the top of his head. Then his shoulder. He looked up startled. He saw what looked like a cloud above him and he saw snowflakes falling.
"What the" Vexen stared in amazement at the snow falling. He sighed figuring that he was fighting a losing battle.
He went up to the kitchen, the snow cloud following him the entire way there. He reached the kitchen where he made himself some boiling hot peppermint tea. As soon as the tea hit his tongue his mood lifted and the snow cloud disappeared. Vexen smirked and carried the tea to his room, where he took an extremely long nap.
