A/N: I am not really great at poetry, but this just sounded so much better in poem form than in letter form. Hope it is decent…

Watch You From Above
I used to hold a grudge, Ziva.
I don't know how it's fair.
I was shot by your own blood,
And now you sit there in my chair.
I know I've never met you, Ziva,
At least not face-to-face.
But every day at work,
It is my steps you will retrace.
I would have never guessed, Ziva,
That I'd be first to go.
So since I can't be near, Ziva,
Here's what you need to know.
Please watch out for Abby, Ziva,
She needs much love and care.
Although she may be different,
A smile she will wear.
She was my best friend, Ziva,
I loved her 'til the end.
So can you please take care of her,
And try to be a friend?
Tony is a jokester, Ziva,
You could see it from the start.
I really did care for him,
But now you have his heart.
Hold him close forever, Ziva,
And never let him go,
Tell him that you love him,
He really ought to know.
Timmy can be awkward, Ziva,
But he really was a friend.
He can crack any password,
A genius 'til the end.
Sometimes Timmy may be shy,
But he's always true to you,
Some things may surprise you, Ziva,
Has he ever told you about his tattoo?
Enjoy Ducky's stories, Ziva,
He's got a lot to say.
What I'd give to hear one more,
If I had just one more day.
I miss hearing his accent,
And his kindness towards the dead,
I never imagined one day,
His silver table would be my bed.
I don't know where to start, Ziva,
When I tell you about Gibbs.
He shows his love in a different way,
And tends to not have much to say.
He lives by his own rules,
Has a basement full of tools,
But when it comes to being there,
He'll show that he does really care.
I watch you from above, Ziva,
I'll be your guardian.
From the skies of Heaven,
I'll bring peace like a dove.
In a time of need, Ziva,
I'll be by your side.
Look up at me and I will lead,
For ever we are allied.
One last thing I ask, Ziva,
Never let them forget.
Remind them of the Agent-
That stubborn little brunette-
The one who gave her life that day,
In the most tragic way.
