All she knew was that it was drama free in Mystic Falls. When she leaves for New Orleans for a Mardi Gra vacation, she sees a face she thought she would never see again. What will Caroline do? " Elena, it's only going to be for a few days," Caroline said as she hugged her best friend. She was going to spend a week in New Orleans visiting the sites, and of course, celebrating Mardi Gra. They have been through everything together: boys, the supernatural, and gossip. Elena had long, dark brown hair with beautiful brown eyes, which showed her care for Caroline.

"I know, I wish you could come, but I see you and Damon already have plans," Caroline stated as she cocked her head toward Damon. She was ready for her Mardi Gra holiday! Caroline would eat like a fat man, party hard, and forget about all she's been through. Now that she had fully recovered from her breakup with Tyler, she was single and ready to mingle. Tyler had cheated on her with the SHE-WOLF Haley and she was not gong to forget it. She had been listening to constant Adele and Taylor Swift, while eating Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

" I'm really going to miss you, okay. Call me everyday and make sure you be a good girl." Elena said with a motherly care. " Hmmmm, sure I'll try to behave," Caroline said with a smirk. With that, Damon and Elena were out the door.

Caroline went into her room and packed all her things. She had suitcases of beauty products and lavish clothes. Who would Caroline be without her curling iron? It was her holy grail item as well as some extra B positive blood bags for her craving. Mystic Falls had become normal again. There was still a hint of supernatural, but it died down ever since the Originals left. They went who knows where?! She was relieved they were gone it made her life easier, but Caroline missed the excitement and adventure!

IN NEW ORLEANS

Caroline had arrived in New Orleans a few hours ago since her flight and was staying in the Marriott hotel in the French Quarter. She was stunned by the beauty, culture, and people therein the French Quarter. Everything seemed so alive, as she waked down the roads. As Caroline walked down the road she saw the most beautiful necklace in the world. Still looking at the necklace, suddenly Caroline bumped into trouble.
