Missing
The young CEO tossed and turned in his sleep, trying to wake up out of the nightmare.
A girl in white robes, with flowing whitish-blue hair and bright blue eyes stood in the middle of a dark room. Only she was illuminated.
Please, please forgive me. But I won't be home again. Maybe someday you'll look up, and barely conscious you'll say to no one, "Isn't something missing?"
She seemed to be immensely sad as she sang the words.
You won't cry for my absence, I know. You forgot me long ago. Am I that unimportant? Am I that insignificant?
He wanted to help her. He felt it was his fault she was so sad. But he couldn't remember who she was.
Isn't something missing? Isn't someone missing me? You won't cry for me, not now. Though I died to know you loved me, I'm all alone.
He couldn't think of her name.

And if he sleeps, just to dream of her, he wakes without her there.
She faded into the darkness.
Seto Kaiba, barely conscious, whispered to the darkness of his bedroom, "Isn't something missing?"
