piercing gold eyes that keep mine
thick, silver-white hair
strong, rough hands that hold my heart

A/N: Recently, I was introduced to Japanese Tanka poems through Sweet Inu Girl's Inuyasha fanfic "The Return" and I have fallen head over heels in love with the poems as well as her masterpiece of a fanfic. If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend it. But anyway! Here's my very first ever attempt at a Tanka poem.
Update: I uploaded this poem for my own personal pleasure but I got some really kind encouragements so I decided to add to this story. Totally spur of the moment thing here since I should really be doing homework but here it is. XD We'll just have to see how this goes as I go along. ^^
