This is another Creative Writing journal prompt that I turned into a Fanfiction, hence why there isn't a quote prompt. The first two lines are the prompt.
Yes, I have no qualms about turning in blatant yaoi to my teacher.
A man walks out into the cold night air. His hands are shaking from what just happened.
He had taken a life.
Sawada Tsunayoshi knew it would have happened eventually. He was a Mafia boss after all, one with a vehement desire to protect his friends. It made sense.
But he still couldn't believe that he had ended another life. He revered life above all else, refusing to kill Enma or even Daemon if he could avoid it. Sure, he had killed Byakuran in that dreadful future that would never come to pass. But Byakuran was fine now; the Vongola and the Millefiore were allied almost as closely as the Cavallone and Vongola.
Tsuna dropped to his knees, his hands still shaking violently. He let out a soft gasp of pain as that man's tortured face swam in front of his eyes.
A pair of arms clad in black leather swept him into a hug from behind.
"You're lucky it was me Tsunayoshi-kun. Otherwise you would be dead right now."
"Mukuro." Tsuna whispered.
"I was told to come alone. If they knew you were here-"
"You really think that your Guardians would let that happen? That I would let that happen?" Mukuro chuckled.
"Silly Tsuna. Silly silly Tsunayoshi."
Tsuna started crying, tears dripping slowly down his face.
"I killed someone Mukuro. I took a life."
"It's kill or be killed in this world. There's nothing you can ever do to chance that. All you can do is hope that the ones who are killed don't matter anything to you." The illusionist tightened his grip around the younger man, pulling Tsuna closer.
"Do you still remember the first person you killed?" Tsuna whispered.
"You are prone to forget that I had a very different upbringing from you. I was raised with murder and death as normality. I don't remember the first person I killed. You'll want to talk to Yamamoto Takeshi about something like that."
Tsuna's head lowered and his eyes shadowed, tears still running silently down his cheeks.
"But I'll still be here for you." Mukuro leaned down and placed a few soft kisses on the younger's cheek.
"I may not be able to sympathize with you, but I'll hold you as long as I need to. I'll always be here for you Tsuna."
Tsuna's hands tightened around Mukuro's arms gently.
"Thank you."
Fluff fluff fluff, I'm way overdue for some serious angst.
