"Who are you talking to?" She watches as her notbrother snaps and looks at her, through her. She can feel the Other in the room, but ignores it.
"Nobody, Sam," he sighs, blinks as if he doesn't see the little smiling evil in her face.
His guardian is different. The guardian does not follow his charge, just looks at her with his metalbriarrabbit face, pulsing and shimmering.

She doesn't dignify him with a response, but doesn't interfere when Time rolls back into place.
Ashley Ferris
"Ashley?! Ashley!" Martha Ferris shakes her little girl. The driver of the Chevrolet just peels off, leaving her to collect her little girl's body. She whimpers, pulls her close. "Oh, god, Ashley, please, please, come back,"
Martha Ferris doesn't know how long she rocks there, sobbing over her dead little girl until pale, cold fingers wrap themselves in her hair.
"Mommy?"
Martha Ferris gasps and thanks god when her daughter's eyes open.
Of course, a week of birthday parties and endless morbid fairytales, she curses God and then takes her life with a box cutter.

One day, Carrie Burton wakes up to find her normally tomboyish twelve year old girl suddenly styling a pretty white dress.
Carrie Burton smiles and kisses her daughter's forehead. "Morning sweetie,"
"Hi!" beams Hailey, eyes stark white, red coating her mouth.

The next morning, Brandon Young, Andrew Jeff, and Anthony Nagy are all found with their scalps gone and Sarah hums a twisted little lullaby.
