I walk outside
looking up to the night sky
counting the stars glowing
the more I see
the more I want to make a wish and pray
Hoping each one will carry the answer and gift
I seek
Then one star glows dim
then disappears
that is how much I miss seeing your face
hearing your voice
holding you close
I stay up til the sun arises
and I see you face
See your beautiful smile
here I am wishing so badly with all my might
hoping I was there to be with you
I light a candle and set it on a floating raft
to forever burn for you
