Cornelia and Flavia, two Roman girls who live in Italy, are friends. Because it is summer, Cornelia the Roman girl is living in a country house. Flavia is happy to see her lover again, in the summer and in Italy where they live. Today they sit under a tree in the fields.

"Do you want to walk and run in the fields?" asks Cornelia, a Roman girl who is living in a country house for the summer.

"Yes, let's walk pointlessly in the fields like we often do in the summer. But right now I am tired."

"I, a Roman girl, am also tired. Let us sit under this tree longer."

"Sitting under a tree is fun," says Flavia.

"Anything's fun when I'm with you," says Cornelia.

Now the happy girls make out passionately under the tree in the field in Italy. What else would Roman girls do under a tree all day? Read and write? That's rich.
