When the whirring of the spinning blue box faded off in the echoes of space, the Doctor circled and inspected around the levers and mechanics of his precious engine. He fiddled and spun around in his brown trench coat and adjusted his glasses while Donna paced anxiously, and placed her hands on her hips. He had a plan, and she knew it would be trouble.

"So where do ya suppose we fly next? I would prefer if we go somewhere a bit more pleasurable, say a planet where we can lie around sand so I don't have to stand in these dreaded shoes all day. Oui, what in the blazes are ya messing with this time? You better not be sending us to some sort of underwater planet that we drown in our own filth or something," Donna snapped. But he kept moving, pushed buttons and flipped switches.

"Oh, nothing much, really," the Doctor replied. "But, not to fear. We are going someplace incredible. Well, at least I hope you would think it's incredible. If not, I suppose you need to change your attitude." The Doctor glanced up at his redheaded companion and flashed his wide smile, but of course, she was not even slightly amused and rolled her eyes. She opened her mouth about to reply, but then they felt a rumble beneath as if the TARDIS inquired a sudden earthquake. Alarms blared from the controls and gray smoke started appearing from the floor.

"What is that? Did you break it? Doctor!" Donna demanded. The Doctor, for once, looked just as confused as Donna.

"I'm not sure. Wait a minute." He turned to a monitor and control panels. He noticed something has changed. "What is this? These coordinates are way out of our path, and not only that but they are impossible. This smoke is coming from the exhaust fumes." The Doctor explained to Donna, and discovering it himself. He whipped out his sonic screwdriver from his coat pocket and shined the radiant blue light on the engine. "Something must have hit and disrupted our travel frame down there. Hmm." He hopped up and tucked away his screwdriver back in his pocket, analyzing the device. There was another rumble of the TARDIS, but both passengers felt it crash onto a surface.

"Ah!" Donna grunted, both stumbling and grabbed on to the closest handles for balance.

"Well, what the blimey do you think it is then, Spaceman?" Donna spat.

The Doctor ran to the doors of the TARDIS and peeked outside through the small window.

"We must fallen into a solar rift that we were never supposed to cross." He stared and bobbed his head around. Donna shuffled over and shoved The Doctor aside. All she found was misty fog, blocking away the distance outside.

"So what does that mean?" Donna asked with a sincere face this time.

"Well, this only means that there is a powerful force out in space that knew we were here, and wanted us. They were calling, beckoning for us to land here. The only question is, what was it? Or, for that matter, who?"
