Interesting Encounters
Ginny Weasley was walking down one of the many deserted corridors, it was Christmas break so there were very few people left at Hogwarts. She could not believe she was in her 6th year, and sadly still single. She had never gotten over her crush on Harry, sadly she sighed. Then she heard footsteps coming from around the corner ahead of her.
Suddenly Harry apperared, being closely followed by Hermione.
"Just tell her she will be so happy, you have no idea," Hermione said.
"But she doesn't like me anymore 'Mione," Harry replied.
"Do you know what Gin-" Hermione started but cut off when she saw the subject of the conversation in the corridor ahead of her. "Oh hey Ginny!" she said happily. "Oh my gosh, sorry but I have to go to a Heads' meeting with Dumbledore, Harry you stay with Ginny 'cause otherwise you will be alone, Ron has to go to the meeting to since he's Head Boy (A/N: Yah I know Ron being Head Boy is unlikely but it works with the story so shoot me why don't ya)," she said this all rather fast and departed just as quickly.
"Hi Harry," Ginny said a blush creeping up her cheeks. Harry, she saw, also had a pink tinge on his cheeks.
"What's up Gin?" he choked out. Crap, I sound like an idiot, he thought.
"Nothing really, I'm just kinda bored, there is like no one here." Maybe I should tell him how I feel, she thought, though mentally slapping herself for leting her blush increase.
Why is she blushing? Harry thought.
"Harry I need to tell you something," Ginny said, while thinking, This is it!
"What is it Ginny?"
"I- I- I like you," she spluttered.
"Wow," Harry said relief in his voice. "I like you to Ginny," he whispered, "Will you go out with me?"
Ginny was amazed, she couldn't believe Harry actually liked her. "Yes," she said happily. Harry grabbed her around the waist, and brought her closer to him. He then kissed her, Ginny responded by kissing him back. They ended up moving into an empty classroom in the corridor.

Hermione was happy when she got back to the Head's common room, she saw Ron sitting in an armchair by the fire. She went over and kissed him on the cheek.
He looked up and said, "Hey love."
Hermione then took a seat on his lap and whispered in his ear, "Our plan worked!"

Meanwhile in the empty classroom where Harry and Ginny sat snogging they both had the same thought : "Thank you Hermione!"

So if you wanted to find the four Gryffindors' that were still staying at Hogwarts all you had to do was look in the Head's common room to see Hermione and Ron snogging in an armchair. Also in an empty classroom, that wasn't as empty as it seemed, to find Ginny and Harry snogging in a far corner.
It was all pure rhapsody, just because of a couple of interesting encounters.
