Aqua Eyes
Okay, so I haven't written a fanfic in a while. Well, I have, but I've been too lazy to type it up. So anyways, the story behind this one is that I asked my friend Inannalia to give me a random word. First I got 'Anthropomorphic', which… I don't even UNDERSTAND. Then I got 'suave', which made me think 'Riku,' thus, this. So anyways, hope you enjoy. Hope you know who the characters are, cause I didn't really say…
Disclaimer: I own NOT the Kingdom Hearts world or characters, or anything from Final Fantasy. That belongs to Disney and Square Enix, much to my dismay.

She remembered the first day. The first time he arrived in the darkened city, the lamplight reflecting off his hair like polished silver. She, of course, had been told, warned and ordered not to follow strangers, but she rarely paid attention. Perhaps she should have listened that day. Perhaps it would have saved her from the inevitable.
But, being the person she was, she had warily watched from the rooftops as the boy had wandered through town. Whom he was looking for she hadn't known, although if she had, she still wouldn't have taken him to him. No, she wasn't going to let such an interesting looking person such as this simply melt away in the clutches of another person.
It was rare for a person to come through the gates of Traverse – many people perished with their world, and those who didn't usually didn't last the gummi trip. This boy, however, didn't seem despaired about the loss of a world like most, nor had he had a gummi ship. He was like Sora; no transportation, and yet here anyways.
Squall… no, Leon claimed it was due to strong hearts. They could lock away the darkness and make it here. But she didn't believe it. How could one small heart prevail over an army of darkness?
She had been so caught up in her thoughts over how the boy had arrived, that she didn't notice the shadow sneaking up behind her, it's neon yellow eyes watched her greedily.

Her green eyes widened in surprise as a flash of silver slipped past her, disintegrating the darkness in a flurry of movements. She nearly fell from the roof, before a gloved hand reached out, grasping her wrist lightly. And their eyes had met. Aquamarine against emerald, she had never seen anything more beautiful than his eyes. Like small blue materia, gazing upon her in curiosity, hiding amusement. Her mouth had dropped open slightly in astonishment, making him chuckle. "You should watch your back."
And with that, he was gone again, leaving her sitting stunned on the roof. Realizing he had left, she attempted to get up and follow, only to fall backwards, hitting the ground with a loud thump, thus drawing Leon and Aerith's attention outside.
She had then run, brushing off their concern like an unwanted blanket, her sole intent on finding the silver haired boy.
But he was gone, disappeared like the darkness he had saved her from, leaving only a memory of aqua eyes and a curious expression.
After that, she'd rarely left the front door, watching it from the rooftops with a hopeful expression. Aerith said she'd get over him, this mystery boy. That soon he would be but a memory. But she knew. The young girl knew that she'd never forget. She'd wait forever for him to return to her.
