Syed likes being bitten. The pain that mingles with pleasure; the feeling of blood rushing to his skin; the heat; the warmth of Christian's mouth, the sensation of his teeth; knowing that he's his, his, his –
But what he loves, almost as much, is the aftermath.
Christian - stretched out beside him, almost as boneless as himself - carefully tracing the outlines of each bruise, each mark, each imprint; running the pads of his fingers in small circles; leaning over, brushing with his lips, soothing with his tongue.
It's caring, and tender, and love, and everything Syed has ever wanted.
