Summery: She was a bubbly waitress who couldn't cook a thing without charring it black, and he was a hyperactive carpenter who swung around a lethal weapon for fun. But differences set aside, they were actually okay together. Maya/Luke, Gill/Molly

Gill couldn't quite place his finger on it; what kept this bizarre couple together like glue? He watched on with his (as material as the word seemed) girlfriend, Molly, as Luke was fed another disaster (if you could really call it that) that Maya had created from the kitchen. He ate 'it', turned green, and then promptly fainted. Maya panicked.

"Ya think he might die?" Molly asked, amused as Maya tried to pull Luke by his pant leg, and failed miserably.

"Nah, he's fine. He'll just go to the clinic, where he'll get yet another long lecture about what foods to eat, and what foods not to eat." Gill replied with a smirk.

"Like Maya's?"

"Exactly."

Chase came out of the kitchen, swung a rag over his shoulder, to behold the scene before him. "Luke eat Maya's cooking again?"

"Yep." Molly pulled out a silver flask and took a sip from it.

"Are you drinking again?" Gill sighed.

"Yep. Whatcha gonna do 'bout it, Princess?"

"Nothing, just don't come crying to me if you get a hangover." Gill scoffed.

"Wait, look what she's trying to do now." Chase interrupted their argument.

"What?" Gill groaned.

Chase pointed to Maya, who tried to lift Luke over her shoulder, only to fall forward.

"Who has the defective mind to eat her food?" Chase wondered aloud.

"Well, Luke is not the shining example of sanity." Gill pointed out.

Molly nodded her head. "Ya right there."

Maya lifted Luke onto a stool, tried to push the stool, only to find she had another problem, the door, and more exactly the small bump in it.

"What exactly did she try to cook?" Chase intently watched the scene in front of him.

"Um, It was supposed to be a cookie."

"Really? I could've mistook it for a piece of shit." Gill observed the 'supposed' cookie.

"Might as well be one." Molly sighed.

"I wonder what married life will be like for them."

"Probably Hell."

"Probably."

The trio sighed.

"Somebody should go help her."

"Yeah."

Before Gill assisted Maya, he had a thought, a fleeting thought, but still a thought.

She was a bubbly waitress who couldn't cook a thing without charring it black, and he was a hyperactive carpenter who swung around a lethal weapon for fun. But differences set aside, they were actually okay together…

So, what did you think? Good, or not good? I would like to have some criticism, so I can get better at writing.
