Special Edition: When?
Michael was busy searching for some information about the new target of STN when the shield of the STN-J MAIN COMPUTER reacted into something, an intruder.
"What the?" Michael said in his frightened voice.
"A hacker?" he added.
He checked it out and tried to identify who the intruder was. But it was useless because the intruder was definitely skilled. Michael was determined to protect the STN-J MAIN COMPUTER so he tried harder.
Suddenly, he remembered an innate memory, something, which he has forgotten a long time ago.
'Michael!' a sweet voice of a young girl resounded in his ears. Michael stopped in what he was doing and cupped his chin. "Rain…" Michael said in his deep voice.
He waited for a long time and something appeared in the screen of the monitor. SILVER TEARS.
"Silver tears?" Michael said to himself. And some pop-ups appeared continuously for some seconds. The pop-ups contained the same words, SILVER TEARS. The shield of the computer started to deteriorate and Michael found it very amusing.
"Could it be…her?" Michael said then another pop-up appeared on the screen. But then, it was different from before. There was a picture of a girl on that pop-up. It was a beautiful girl with very gentle features. The girl has dark brown hair and blue eyes. The girl has small, pointed nose, and thin pale lips.
"RAIN!" Michael said in his shocked voice.
Another pop-up appeared and it was a live video. "Michael…" the girl said in her soft voice. Michael was definitely stunned by this and this silenced him for a while.
"Michael…" the girl repeated.
Michael looked down and gave a deep sigh. He shut off the computer and picked up the phone on his desk. He dialed a phone number and waited for someone to answer.
"Rain…what do you want? Do you really want to get into trouble! What if they also catch you! Why are you hacking STN-J?" Michael said furiously.
"Calm down Michael," the person from the other side of the line said. It was the same girl who was hacking STN.
"What if you get caught? Don't you know…what you are doing is dangerous! You will end up the way I did. Rain…stop this at once!" Michael said.
"Michael…if you won't be able to leave that place then I would just join you there…and never leave your side…" the girl said sadly.
"No…I don't want you to have the same destiny as me…No…" Michael replied.
"But Michael…" the girl said then she started to cry.
"Are you crying?" Michael asked.
"No…" the girl replied then she cried harder.
"I'm sorry…I'm just worried about you…that's all…" Michael said gently.
The girl remained silent and waited for what Michael had to say. "Please…don't do that again…never again…please…" Michael added.
"I want to be with you," the girl said.
"That is not possible…" Michael said.
"Why not?" the girl asked. "Because I won't be able to leave this place for now…" Michael replied in his gloomy voice.
"Then when will we be able to see each other again?" the girl asked.
"Heaven knows…Heaven knows…when?" Michael said then he put the phone down.
Michael turned on the computer and found out that the STN-J MAIN COMPUTER was still safe. "No harm done…she's not yet as good as I am…I guess…" Michael said then he started rebuilding the shield of the computer.
Rain was Michael's childhood friend. They were good friends. Michael taught everything Rain knew. Michael taught everything about computer…even the hacking stuff. Most of all…Michael was the one who caught Rain's heart. And Rain was the one who caught his heart.
