Holding his hands up to show that he was not going to move, Sam barely noticed as his mouth went completely dry at the sight before him. He had only been gone for five minutes! What had happened in that span of time?
"Dean…"
"Who the hell are you? No, no, it'll never happen!" the gun shook in Dean's hand as he aimed it at the intruder's chest. Looking around wildly, trying to spot the others he knew were in the room, the hunter's glazed green eyes unknowingly locked on the form of his brother.
"Dean…" but the sudden blast of a gunshot cut him off.
