Chapter 1: The fever that will go away with just the words "I CARE"

Sousuke's day will not be complete without Kaname hitting him with her big fan. Sure, it was different that day. Kaname didn't come to school and Sousuke didn't know the reason of her absence in class. He discovered it just when he came to school that lonely day.

Sousuke went in the room and found Kyouko doing something on her place. "Tokiwa-san, where is Chidori-san?" Sousuke asked Kaname's petite best friend, Kyouko.

"Um…she called me a while ago and her voice was really hoarse and…" Kyouko said and she noticed Sousuke preparing for his combat mode.

"Sagara-san…" Kyouko said in confusion.

"She must be held as a hostage…did she tell you where she was when she called you?" Sousuke asked as he put his guns and explosives in his bag.

"She said she was at home and…" Kyouko said then Sousuke quickly went towards the door.

"But, Sagara-san…" Kyouko said but Sousuke already left.

"Sagara-san…I think you misunderstood it again…" Kyouko said then she gave a very deep sigh.

Sousuke was on his way to Kaname's home and he was very careful about his moves.

"The coast is clear…I'm coming Chidori-san…so don't die yet…" Sousuke said in his frightened voice.

Sousuke reached Kaname's place and he set a bomb on her door to open the door and also alarm the hostage-takers he thought was really in there.

BOOM! The door was exploded and lots of smoke appeared. Sousuke quickly went in with his gun pointing into the room and he was surprised to see Kaname lying on her soft-cushioned bed. She was pale and looked very weak.

"Chidori…" Sousuke said in his surprised voice.

"Sousuke…what are you doing here…ERR!" Kaname said furiously then she gained a lot of energy and jumped out of bed then she quickly hit Sousuke with her big, white fan.

"But…Chidori…" Sousuke said in his puzzled voice.

"What have you done? You wrecked my door!" Kaname said in her high-pitched voice then she lost her energy and fell on her bed.

"But Chidori…I thought you were taken as a hostage…that's why I quickly went here." Sousuke said as he tried to reason out.

"BAKA! I called Kyouko to tell her that I can't come to school because I have colds." Kaname said.

"You are sick…" Sousuke said then there was a sudden change of expression on his face.

Kaname felt bad when she saw the apologetic look on Sousuke's face. "Fine…" she said.

"Are you mad?" Sousuke asked and Kaname gave a very deep sigh.

Kaname shook her head and said, "No…"

"Sousuke…go back to school now…or you'll be late for the first class…" Kaname said then she tucked herself in the sheets of her bed.

"I won't go…I'll stay since you are sick…." Sousuke said then he took a chair and placed it beside her bed.

"Take a nap. I'll stay here and watch over you until you get well." Sousuke said without looking at Kaname's confused face.

"Sousuke…" Kaname said then a very sweet smile appeared on her face

"Sousuke…Why?" Kaname asked in her soft voice.

"Because…I care…" Sousuke said and his face turned crimson.

Kaname smiled and said, "I think…I'm fine now…"then she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

So! That's my first fic…a very short one, ne? At least I tried making one…to my cute little sister thank you! Watch out for my next fic.
