My name was once Amelia Pond

And not so long ago

I met a man with a blue box

Who fell so far below.

He promised me both worlds and times

No one had ever been

He promised me that he'd be back

But I'm still here and that was then.

There is another man I know

A man who's always known me

He's seen me laugh and cry and love

And this man's name is Rory.

The sad man with the box returned

Said "Allons-y!" and off we went

We traveled so very far from home

Until at last, we all were spent.

The mad man with the box showed me

A future, past, and present bright

I'm thankful for the time I shared

Both in joy or pain or in a fight.

The Doctor taught me how to be

And all that I could do

If he should ever come your way

This is what I impart to you.

The Doctor is so wonderful

But in the end, he cannot stay

It is the Rory Williams

Of this world who will never go away.
