The three of us promised forever together.
We promised by saying 'Cross my hearts.'
When we were eight we supported each other as we gazed into the Untempered Schism.
We grew together and learned our history together.
We were terrified by the bed time stories we were told together.
We laughed at the jokes told to us together.
"Vivien!" I yelled as I saw a Dalek approaching her. She turned to face face me with fear in her eyes. Tears formed as she accepted her fate.
But then, the Dalek never shot. We were frozen in that moment of time.
And forever was what we got.
