It was a hard problem. Ritsuka couldn't figure out what to get Soubi. It wasn't like it was his birthday or anything, he just wanted to give him a 'Just because' gift. Soubi, though weird and perverted despite his protests, was a good friend. Also, Ritsuka would never admit it aloud, he cared for him deeply.

He had wasted a whole school day thinking about it. He was so lost in thought, he didn't notice Yukiko and Yayoi approach him.

"Ritsuka-kun?" Yukiko cocked her head. "Something wrong?"

"Hmm?" He turned to look at his friends. "Oh, I was just thinking."

"About?" Yayoi was only interested because Yukiko was.

"Soubi. I want to get him a present, but I don't know what."

Yukiko clapped her hands in excitement. "A gift for Soubi-san? That's so cool!"

"Yeah." Yayoi mummbled. "Cool."

Yukiko tapped her chin. "But what to get him." She gasped. "I know, make him a coupon book."

"Coupon book?"

"Yeah! I made one for each of my parents. I made ones like "Good for one trash take out' and 'Vacuum the living room' though that one didn't go over big."

The two boys looked at each other thinking the same thing. No surprise there.

"I'll think about it." Ritsuka lied.

Yukiko turned to Yayoi. "Any ideas?"

Yayoi shrugged. "I don't know. He likes butterflies, maybe something with that."

"Butterflies?" Ritsuka wasn't even going to consider it. Soubi's 'love' of butterflies was messed up to Ritsuka. Definitely a 'no go'.

"I don't know." He sighed "Maybe I'll wonder around town, window shop."

"We'll go with you." Yukiko volunteered. "The three of us will come up with something good."

Ritsuka really didn't want them to come, but Yukiko was dead set on her idea.

Window shopping was a waste of time. They came up with nothing Ritsuka found worthy.

"I'm so tired." Yukiko whined. "Let's go get some ice cream."

"I like that idea." Yayoi agreed.

Ritsuka really didn't want to, but went along anyway.

Sitting and enjoying their ice cream, Ritsuka watched people go by, mostly couples. Some with ears, some with none. However, one couple caught his attention. One had ears while the other did not.

An idea came to mind, the perfect gift. "I'll be right back." Ritsuka yelled grabbing his bag and racing off.

"Ritsuka-kun!" Yukiko called after him, but he was too far to hear.

To get the perfect gift, Ritsuka had to go into the most embarrassing shop. It was the worst shop ever and he'd never have gone in other wise. It was for Soubi though.

There was a knock at his apartment door pulling Soubi away from his work.

When he opened the door, he was surprised to see who was on the other side. "Ritsuka-kun?"

"Hey." He forced his way in. "I've got something for you."

"Hello to you too." Soubi shut the door.

Ritsuka turned to face the adult. "I have something for you."

"A present?" Soubi cocked his eyebrow. "How unexpected."

"Yeah." All of a sudden Ritsuka was embarrassed. "You have to close your eyes and crouch down."

"Is that an order?"

"Yes."

Obeying, Soubi crouched closing his eyes. Nervous, Ritsuka attached two objects to Soubi's hair and a long object to his pant loop.

"Okay, you can look now."

Soubi stood up, his hands going to his hair. He found two cat ears attached. He reached around and found a tail. He looked confused.

Ritsuka smiled broadly. "Do you like them?"

"I don't understand."

"I gave you your virginity back."

"Ritsuka-kun."

The smile faded from the catboy's face. "You don't like them?"

Soubi slid his hand across Ritsuka's cheek. He leaned down and kissed him. "I love you, Ritsuka-kun.
