What goes around, comes around
Marissa Cooper screamed in horror as she watched Seth's corpse lay in a sea of blood. Ryan just stared at Seth as the gun dropped from his hand onto the floor, and then the most unbelievable thing happened. Ryan dropped to his knee, bent his head down, and started to cry. He stared at everyone as he was hauled at of the Cohen house by the police. Sandy, and Kirsten watched Ryan with mixed emotions as he was driven off.
Marissa turned to Summer who was holding hands was approaching the group which disgusted Kirsten to no end. Summer tried to hug Kirsten, but she turned to Sandy for an embrace. Summer ran into Marissa's arms as the tears came running down her cheek.
Sandy: I can't believe this happened.
Kirsten: Sandy, I can't go to see Ryan, and I know it was an accident.
Sandy: Kirsten I know, and if you don't want to go then you don't have to.
Summer: I'll stay with her Mr. Cohen.
Kirsten: Yeah, I bet you will.
They both walk into the house, and Luke is just stands in silence
Marissa: How could you Luke?
Luke: I did not mean for this to happen, but Summer….
She walked up to him, and then slapped him as hard as she could instantly leaving a big red mark for everyone to see. Luke apologized as he left the Cohen house sulking, and feeling guilty.
Sandy: Do you want to go Marissa?
Marissa: Yeah I do.
Marissa wanted to go see Ryan to comfort him, but at the same she just wanted to let loose all her anger. Sandy could see the look of horror overcome Marissa's face, but he knew this was a moment that she will never forget. Ryan was locked in a dark padded room being questioned by the investigator when Sandy and Marissa walked in.
Marissa: I never meant for this to happen Sandy.
Ryan: Then why were you with Seth?
Marissa: Did you know that Summer was sleeping with Luke?
Ryan: I did not know that…… Marissa I….
Marissa: Seth, and I were aiding each other.
Ryan: Marissa…… I
Marissa: You what Ryan?
Ryan: I am sorry for hurting you, for shooting Seth, and for hurting the Cohens.
Sandy: Seth is at the hospital his chances are 50/50 right now Ryan.
Ryan: I don't know what happened tonight Sandy.
Marissa: This is insane, I keep seeing Seth lying on the floor,
Ryan: Seth's my brother, my friend, and I …I.
(Kirsten walks into the room trying to avoid contact with Ryan, but does instinctively.)
Kirsten: Seth is in the operating room now, but I don't…
Sandy: Its ok Kirsten, its ok to cry.
Ryan: I have a lot of trust issues, and I guess I just can't get over them.
Marissa: What happen to us? What happen to the fantastic four?
Ryan: I don't know Marissa, I really don't know.
