First ever song fic I have ever written. I don't own Doctor who. The Title and Artist is at the bottom. Feel free to review. Please no flames for this one. Unless you really hate it, in which case why bother reviewing.

How long before I get in?
Before it starts, before I begin?
How long before you decide?
Before I know what it feels like?
Where To, where do I go?
If you never try, then you'll never know.
How long do I have to climb,
Up on the side of this mountain of mine?
Time was ticking as rain drenched his whole body soaking through his clothes. He had just said good bye to everyone he cared for. Biggest family on earth indeed but they all had someone else. He hadn't expected this. Donna, her mind was lost because she saved everyone in the universe. Thinking was doing him no good. He missed them all, in the TARDIS. They flew the TARDIS the way it was meant to.
Look up, I look up at night,
Planets are moving at the speed of light.
Climb up, up in the trees,
every chance that you get,
is a chance you seize.
How long am I gonna stand,
with my head stuck under the sand?
I'll start before I can stop,
before I see things the right way up.
And now, his song was ending. He remembered what she had said. At first he didn't believe it. Why should he. He was a timelord, the best. He didn't believe he could die. That black haired girl could have come with him. They would have had the best of times but she would get lost just like all the others. Why was he protecting such fragile humans?
All that noise, and all that sound,
All those places I got found.
And birds go flying at the speed of sound,
to show you how it all began.
Birds came flying from the underground,
if you could see it then you'd understand?
If that wasn't enough he ran into a man who called himself, 'Doctor'. It was Jackson Lake. That brilliant man. He was the best and yet, not enough. Another person that had lost much but still found his son, someone to be with twenty- four seven. The Doctor had one final feast with that man, and what fun it was.
Ideas that you'll never find,
All the inventors could never design.
The buildings that you put up,
Japan and China all lit up.
The sign that I couldn't read,
or a light that I couldn't see,
some things you have to believe,
but others are puzzles, puzzling me.
Waters on Mars, that what he called the event, he was not able to save many of those people on the station. He had acted too slowly. He thought he could just change the future so easily. There was a balance and he ignored it. Instead of a more peaceful death, he was the one who led Captain Adelaide Brooke to suicide.
All that noise, and all that sound,
All those places I got found.
And birds go flying at the speed of sound,
to show you how it all began.
Birds came flying from the underground,
if you could see it then you'd understand,
ah when you see it then you'll understand?
Yet, he still lives, his hearts beating with unit. He even got to see Donna for the last time. His song is ending he had to get prepared. He had to face the Master, and save all the humans on earth. He had only one hour before he had to go back to Donna's time on earth. He was wasting it standing in the middle of nowhere in the pouring rain.
All those signs, I knew what they meant.
Some things you can invent.
Some get made, and some get sent,
Ooh?
Birds go flying at the speed of sound,
to show you how it all began.
Birds came flying from the underground,
if you could see it then you'd understand,
ah, when you see it then you'll understand?
