"Thoughts on life"
Life hadn't turned out the way he wanted it to. God…it was supposed to be so much different then it was now. He was supposed to get together with the fair maiden…who tended to beat him up way too often. They would live happily ever…okay, so they would argue all the time and he would have more bruises then he had ever gotten from demons, but at least they would be together!
No…instead she had run off with a rich upperclassmen from her women's university. Yep. Matsuhito Miyuki. She was three years older then Keiko, and apparently that worked for her. Keiko had dumped it all on him when they met at the beach. There would be no wedding, no happily ever after. At least for him. Keiko and Miyuki were having their commitment ceremony this coming up fall.
He wouldn't be there. Nope, no matter how much everyone urged him to go he refused. He was never leaving Makai again. Not for anyone, or anything. He was a demon now…he didn't need those humans.
He wondered sometimes what Kuwabara was going…but quickly pushed it aside. It wouldn't do to dwell on such things. Kurama spoke of him sometimes, telling him about what a ladies man he had turned out to be. Ladies man…yeah right.
Hiei never visited him. He had his own part of Makai to rule.
Kurama was the only one that did these days. He spent more and more time in his Youko form since his mother's death. He had done so much to help her live, and she was cut down by a robber at the bank. It was tragic.
Kurama had dropped out of school and returned to Makai. He no longer had a reason to be there. But he would go to her grave sometimes, to lay flowers and speak to her. He would bring back stories of Kuwabara's antics and Keiko's pleadings, and they would laugh about it in bed together.
Yep, in bed together. They had been having sex for 8 months, and it was nice. They were comfortable with each other, more so then he had ever been with Keiko. Nothing was taboo to them; of course it could be the fact that they were demons. Who knows.
"Yusuke, would you please stop talking to yourself and come back to bed?"
"Horny again Fox Boy?"
"Really, I think 6 times is more then enough for today."
"But it's after midnight…that means that it's now the next day…"
"Yusuke…no. No more…Yusuke! I said…Yusuke…"
Sure, things didn't turn out the way he wanted them to. He thought he would be with Keiko and he would live in the human world, away from all that fishy demon business. He would be friends with Kuwabara and would live happily for the rest of his human days.
Thank God Kurama did not love him for his brain!
