Just a crazy idea i had. Please review!

Logan skidded across the damp floor of the parking garage and started running after the man who he had been chasing.

He stopped for a minute and listened.

Nothing made a sound.

Then, suddenly, as if pulled by invisible hands, a car was hurtling through the air at him. His claws quickly shot out and he slashed through the flying metal, then whipped around and shoved the blades into the heart of the man who had appeared next to him.

The man winced and slowly pulled Logan's fist away. The claws retracted out of his chest and back into Logan with a sickening squelch. The flesh knitted together rapidly.

"Who'd you get that one from?" Logan panted, adrenaline still running through his veins.

"A cheerleader in California." he answered simply.

"Is she dead now?" he sounded truly intrigued.

"No. I haven't seen her in a few decades though." the man tilted his head to the side. "I'm surprised that your little X-Men aren't here with you, Wolverine."

"They don't even know I'm here, Sylar."

The two had stopped fighting and were walking together, chatting.

They reached a section of the parking garage that looked over a part of New York.

Logan looked up at the night sky. "Immortality is a funny thing. People fight for it, ironically, die for it, yet its kind of pointless. Sure, you get to live forever, but that means you have to watch everyone you know die."

Sylar stared at him like he was crazy.

Logan barked out a laugh. "Of course, you have no one to care about."

He let out a ghost of a smile. "Even if I did, it would still be worth it." he turned and began walking in the other direction. "Goodbye Logan." he held up his hand in a half wave.

"Goodbye Gabriel. See you next time."
