Author's Note: I am not associated with Marvelous or Natsume, but rather, I'm a mere Harvest Moon addict. I was inspired to write this poem while working on an art piece centered on Gray and Jill (the heroine's default name from MFoMT), and decided to post the end result. Nothing too fancy… just a simple prose reflecting the love between the two characters in my game that I dedicate to my husband.

Dark and void, they glisten
amidst the shade of auburn strands
but since Dawn had kissed them blindly,
they had hid beneath my hands.
Never wanting,
yet always taunting
a Field of endless Sun,
sweet Light exiled from their hues
until the day you'd come
and
make me tip my hat to you, fair lady,
make me tip my hat to
you.
Hatred, once a welcomed sight
within my tattered
soul
has been replaced by Hope, herself
… to the brim, my
eyes are full.
Now always seeking,
never weakening,
they
drown in Golden fields,
removing all that sheltered them,
their
softened tones, revealed.
And so, I tip my hat to you, my
lady.
