Three years ago, Vanessa escaped a rocky relationship with her ex-boyfriend Nathan. Since then she's had to pick up the pieces and move on. But as always - in Vanessa's case life doesn't go the way she plans.
Chapter One
"Rachel" Vanessa screamed. She sat on the floor surrounded by piles of clothes she conviently tossed out of her closet.
Rachel quickly ran into Vanessa's room, and leaned against the doorway. "What?" she asked irritated, quirking her eyebrows.
"Fashion emergency" Vanessa whined.
"Where are you even going anyway?" Rachel asked, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Um... Serena is taking me shopping" Vanessa said unsurely, as looked at the mountain of clothes around her.
"Serena's taking you shopping" Rachel repeated mockingly, trying her hardest not to laugh. But she couldn't help it.
"Yeah, is there something wrong with that?" Vanessa said in a serious tone, trying to understand what's so funny.
"No it's" Rachel couldn't even finish her message before bursting into laughter again.
Vanessa glared at her sister coldly.
"I'm sorry" she took a deep breath, and exhaled. "Why don't you wear your green tank top and those faded blue jeans you bought the other day?"
Vanessa shuffled through a small pile of clothes near her feet and pulled out the green tank top and threw it on top of her bed. "You know, that's a good idea"
Rachel smiled happily. "I know" She looked around Vanessa's messy room once more before responding, "Anyways, have fun" she waved goodbye and headed towards the front door, opening it she found Lucas standing there.
Lucas had a hand on the wall as he leaned against it smiling he said, "Hey girly"
She curled her lips into a small smile and quietly closed the door behind her. "Lucas"
"Rachel" he said mockingly. "Where are you going?"
"Oh nowhere I was going to the park" Rachel said simply.
Lucas put his hands in his pocket, as they walked down the block. The park. Luke repeated to himself. "Care for some company?" he asked hopefully.
"For you always" Rachel said sweetly, smiling at Lucas.
"Are you ready for fun filled day of shopping?" Serena asked sarcastically, her lips curling into a smile.
"Duh silly" Vanessa said, rolling her eyes.
Serena took Vanessa by the hand and dragged into the nearest store, concidentally it was one of Vanessa's favorite stores Mandee.
Vanessa picked up some graphic tees and jeans of the racks and scurried off to the dressing room to try them on.
A few minutes later, Vanessa walked out the dressing room throwing a scarf around her neck. "I'm ready for my close up"
Oh my god. Serena thought to herself, before bursting out in laughter.
