"What place is this

"What place is this?"

Lavi asked, staring at only a wide patch of grass on the floor.

"You mean this is where the Order is sending us? To this field? Innocence in this field?!"

Allen asked, agitated. The small group of 4--Allen, Lenalee, Lavi and Bookman have been walking for almost 3 hours under the scorching hot sun.

"Calm down Allen…I suppose there is really something unusual about this place that made the Order send us here…"

Lenalee said, looking around the whole field, looking for anything suspicious or unusual. Even the blades of grass on the field seemed normal to all of them.

"Look there."

Bookman said as he pointed his finger towards a patch of grass that were all black, and stood out from the rest. These blades of grass are taller, and blacker than the rest, and have a strange purple-ish glow to them. The group walked towards the patch slowly but steadily in case they fall. The grass went all the way up to their knees and it was hard to walk. As they moved closer toward the patch of black grass, they noticed they weren't exactly grass, but just flowers. They walked towards the flowers hoping to get a lead.

"AH!"

Allen shouted. The group turned and found him sinking into the black flowers.

"I thought the flowers were— "

Lavi was interrupted by another hole. They fell in each to different black holes. Lavi awoke, first, by a soft "zzz"… Then soon he felt something hitting him on the forehead.

"Hmm…"

He whined.

"Plip, plop, plip, plop."

The water dripped gently, but loudly on the ground. Lavi stood up, and explored what seemed like a cave.

"Lenalee? Allen? Grandpa?"

Lavi called out, getting freaked out. He saw a light and went forwards. When he reached, he was greeted by a swarm of akumas, all level one.

"Small fries. Innocence activate!"

Lavi shouted as his hammer grew bigger and knocked them all out, cold.

He continued walking, but lead to a dead-end.

"Lavi? Allen? Bookman?"

Lavi went towards the direction of the voice and saw Lenalee. She was tired and panting so heavily she could hardly talk.

"Th…this…is So gr..grr…great! Let's…g..go find..the others!"

Lenalee managed to say.

"I saw akuma coming from there…But it lead to a dead end.."

Lavi said, disappointed.

"Me..too."

Lenalee said, slowly catching her breath.

"Innocence, activate!"

Lavi and Lenalee when towards the sound and found Allen, fighting with another swarm of level one akumas.

"Allen found. Now. MY GRANDFATHER?!"

Lavi exclaimed, getting anxious. Heaven knows where Bookman is now, but Heaven doesn't want to tell them. The group of three ventured of deeper inside the cave to look for Bookman. They looked for almost half and hour but to no avail.

"Grandpa! Grandpa! GRANDPA!"

Lavi shouted as loud as he could in case Bookman couldn't hear him. They ventured deeper and deeper inside the cave without knowing that they were followed by a vast swarm of akuma. Soon almost like magic, Bookman appeared right in front of them.

"WAH! GRANDPA!"

Lavi was ecstatic that they found Bookman, but once he turned, his smiled faded into frown. His happy and anxious faced turned pale.

"A…A lot of..of…AKUMA! INNOCENCE ACTIVATE!"

Lavi activated his Innocence and defended the group while they activated theirs'. Level ones and twos were flooding them.

"GIVE US THE INNOCENCE!"

The akuma commanded them.

"BUT WE DO NOT HAVE ANY!"

Lavi retorted.

"The Innocence is with me."

Bookman whispered into Lavi's ear. After spending quite a period of time fighting, they finally managed to kill off the group of akumas, leveled one and two.

"SO. TO GET OUT."

Allen said, frustrated. He was the one always getting lost, and hardly knew the way of the Order even if he had been in the order for so long. Timcanpy seemed to have remembered and led them out.

"FRESH AIR"

Lavi exclaimed, taking deep breaths. They went straight back to the order after that.
