Authors note: Hi I am new to this so please do not be too harsh. I love the tv show Supergirl and this is my take on if things turned different in the fight reign vs. Supergirl. Ps I do not own anything
During the fight with Reign everyone saw it rather it was on television or in person. They saw how Supergirl never gave up. They saw how people rush to her when Reign defeated her. They felt the fear when they saw their hero go down. What they did not realize was it was the last battle she would face. Supergirl died that day protecting the world. Little did Reign know was her life was tied to Supergirl's life. The next day everyone will find out that she was gone. Catco will mourn the death of Supergirl and Kara Danvers. Cat Grant returned to inform the city. Cat Grant will also reveal Supergirl as Kara Danvers. Alex Danvers will never have another sister night. Alex will never forget the last thing she said to her sister, the conversation with her mother to inform her that her sister is dead or the crying of her mom as she mourns the death of her adoptive daughter. J'onn J'onzz will grieve the death of the girl of steel whom became to think of as a daughter. He would blame himself for letting her go out there alone with no help. Superman will grieve the loss of his cousin. He will do a report on Supergirl and of her last battle. He will realize he is the last of his planet. He will blame himself for not flying to her aid when she needed him the most. He will spend nights crying to his girlfriend Lois Lane. He will have Eliza as Kara gets buried say the Kryptonian prayer for the dead that she taught them all when she first arrived. Eliza will say "You have been the sun of our lives, our will be the sun that lights your way on your journey home. We will remember you in ever dawn and await the night we join you in the sky. Rao's will be done." They will never forget the day Kara Zo-el gave her life to protect Earth or the day they had buried one of the greatest people in the world.
