THE NEW DAY

I wake up the alarm buzzing nonstop, Wake up it repeats. I get up, slide into a new shirt and jeans and slam down the clock. I brush my teeth and wash my face, I check my looks. I go downstairs and eat cereal, I realize the silence in the house, and seem to hear no conversations. I mumble a word, and wonder if you'll come here . But I remember you're dead , you died in a crash. I finish my breakfast. I check the clock, it's time to go. I grab my stuff and grab a bus. Because I lost my car once you died. I see unfamiliar faces and unfamiliar places. I feel new to this whole thing. I think it's just me. I get ready for the day. I realize how late it is I go home and cry as I eat dinner cold splash on the wood floor. I close

My eyes and fall asleep. I dream weird dreams and wake up the noisy hum picks up again a light turns on. I hear and see you. I wonder if this was a dream but yet there's a coffin.
