Cold

It was cold.

Way too cold.

It wasn't right; something had gone wrong.

But where?

The rush of cold locking his joints into place, his systems slowing down, the feel of liquids caressing his white plating.

Dragging him deeper into the abyss.

Why was he here?

Skyfire's mind grew foggy, barely registering that he had stopped shivering.

He was a scientist. A scientist with a bright future.

But now the only light he could see was the light of the sun as it dipped behind the horizon.

His future wasn't looking so bright, Skyfire mused to himself.

A barely there tug on his peds dragged him slightly further into the watery depths, a dark, deep blue beckoning him onward.

Skyfire couldn't move.

He was alone. Not even Starscream would be able to help him. Even if the seeker knew where he landed.

Only time would tell his fate. But how much longer would it be?

Skyfire stared into the sky, watching the stars slowly appear. The layer of ice forming on him thickening as the night sky burst into color from the Northern Lights.

Perhaps Primus was still looking out after him after all.

Skyfire offlined his optics, frame falling into a stasis lock.
