They were dating two weeks the first time he sees her with her hair down.

It's two a.m. at the Cave, and she's walking sleepily to the kitchen to make herself a sandwich. She is unaware of the fact that he is sitting on the counter furthest away from her and the fridge, silently eating some yogurt.

He remained silent as she placed the ham, turkey, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and pickles on the counter. When she grabbed the mustard and was about to close the fridge, was when he made himself known.

"Your hair looks really pretty down. You should wear it like that more often."

"GAAAH!" Artemis yelped, her hands causing the mustard to fly to the floor. She clutched her chest as she panted heavily. Once her breath was calmed, she turned and glared daggers at the boy.

"Wally! What the hell?" She snapped. "What? How was I supposed to know you'd freak out like that! Uh, if that's your reaction to people giving you complements I'll just keep my mouth shut." He muttered.

Artemis rolled her eyes, turning to pick up the bottle of mustard, giving Wally a clear view of her rear, and the word "Bitch" stamped across her sweat pants.

"Nice pants." He smirked. "Thank you." She said with a nod. "Like I said before, your hair does look nice down." He told her honestly.

It was also the first time he'd ever seen her blush.
