Harry Potter wasn't happy with his life. He didn't know how to solve it, how to make it better, but he didn't want it to continue in the same form.
Before summer he had tried to get some form to practice magic, but he was told again and again, that it was impossible. The Wesleay brothers had told him they created potions diring the summer, but it wasn't an option for him. His guardians would clearly interfere.
Finally he had got some theory books from Hermione, and began studing the moment he arrived 'home'. It was really terrible how they were written, but with some of her notes they had a bit more sense. But she had made the selection and had given him several Runes and Arathimancy books. He didn't have that classes. She was... terrible worried about him, she said. But she didn't write him. Neither did Ron.
Maybe something had happened to them. But he has suspicions it was some type of Dumbledore's plan.
In any case runes was about remembering the simbols and being able to read and interpret them. And he had nearly shit himself when he had seen he had a nordic rune in his head. The rune of thunder, of course, but also of protection, creativity and fight. And about one hundred things more. In the runes books they only talked about older magicians tatooing themselves to use magic. Which was the meaning if the rune appeared magically? It was a big coincidence... or maybe it was the symbol of the proteccion Dumbledore talked about.
His own bet right now was his parents. He had been thinking, and he remembered his parents talking, the green colour, and pain. Why didn't he remember seeing anything else before the Avada Kedava? Maybe his face was covered for vandages after a tatooing session? Nobody had seen him in the weeks preceding the attack, after all.
He looked himself in the mirror again. And his hair was always the same. Maybe... He got a sawing machine and began to cut.
Right now Harry was completely bald, and that allowed him to see the complex rune pattern that covered all his head. He recognized celtic and nordic runes, with a center design of the three Morrigan's ravens.
He had to copy it in paper and send it to somebody trusty and knowledgeable. Sadly, Hermione was his best option. The other options, Dumbledore, Remus... they weren't really good.
