As soon as they saw the King's seal on the letter, they knew it was urgent. Sora, Riku, and Kairi opened the letter as soon as they got it. When they read it, they were stunned. They knew it was going to be horrible, but this – this was too stunning. As soon as they were done reading it, they went to get their things ready. Sora and Riku got their Keyblades ready.
Why didn't he alert us sooner? Sora wondered. He was worrying that that they wouldn't make it in time.
Riku tried to keep calm, but he knew it would be tough to accept the facts of the letter.
As they got in the gummi ship, Kairi bit her lower lip, hoping they would make it in time.
As soon as they arrived at the point where the King had included on the letter, they brushed the sweat off their brows. Luckily, they had made in time. Riku and Sora held their Keyblades steadily in their hands, ready for anything.
"Good job guys! You made it in time!" The king told them. "You remembered not to be late!" Along with the king, Goofy, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy were there.
"I'm just glad we made it." Sora replied with relief.
"Now, let's get started!" The king said with determination on his face. And they began their death defying mission.
This is what the letter said:
Dear friends,
I have chosen to invite the three of you to my castle. Please come over for tea and cookies at 1:00 P.M. Cake will also be provided.
DO NOT BE LATE OR ELSE!
P.S. Bring your Keyblades to cut the cake.
